TeenTalk is part of Young Melksham, a registered charity dedicated to working with and supporting children and young people.
Our service is based from our home at The Canberra Centre in Melksham. We also have an outreach centre on Wednesday afternoons based at Station Hill Baptist Church in Chippenham.
A dedicated youth facility, The Canberra Centre is owned and run by Young Melksham with a wealth of positive activities for young people based in the centre.
Our dedicated counselling room has been specially furnished and decorated to create a welcoming safe environment where both the counsellor and service users feel comfortable and at ease.
When not in use for our dedicated activities, The Canberra Centre and it's facilities are available for hire. Please contact us for details.
Our Melksham based facilities are based within The Canberra Centre just off Spa Road in the town.
There is plenty of free parking in our private car park behind the centre.
From the Town Centre follow Spa Road, go over the old canal bridge and carry on until you see the Texeco Garage. You will then see the road leading to the car park to your right immediately after the large house next to the garage.
From the A365 “Bowerhill Roundabout” follow Spa Road into the town. Cross the roundabout by the hospital and then take the first left directly opposite the Scottish and Southern depot.
Public Transport The Faresaver X72 bus and the Melksham Metro 14 and 15 service runs along Spa Road with a bus stop by Melksham Hospital.
Melksham Rail Station is about a 30 minute walk via the town centre.
Our Chippenham based facilities are based within Station Hill Baptist Church right in the centre of the town.
There is a pay and display car park 3 minutes walk away in Bath Road Car Park and further parking in other town centre car parks
From the Town Centre There is no parking at the venue so you will need to park at any of the Town Centre car parks - the closest is Bath Road Car Park. Head toward the station, passing over the Town Bridge and along new road until you reach the turning into St Mary’s Place, opposite The Black Horse Pub.
Looking up St Mary’s Place you will see a short row of terraced properties on your left and you need to ring the door buzzer on the last property (it has a grey door).
Public Transport There are numerous busses into the Town Centre and the rail station is just 5 mins walk on Station Hill.
